Most visitors to England agree that every British experience has to include the capital itself, but very few ever make it beyond the city limits of London. By not doing so most visitors miss out on the many beautiful historic, picturesque towns and villages which are just a very short distance from the capital.

For example, in just about an hour by train from Paddington Mainline Station in London, you could be experiencing the ancient city of Oxford and the great University with its intriguing spires and architecture, and of course the Botanic Garden and museums.
