Magical Stratford Upon Avon

We are just back from a great weekend in Stratford Upon Avon. A truly fabulous English town which is a magnet to many tourists from all parts of the world!

The tip here is to try to coincide your visit to when a festival is in operation as they are simply splendid. When we visited, we were treated to a waterways festival! Lots to do and see down by the river with live music and brightly coloured barges, which you can hire and experience the slow

pace of life on England's premier canal system. In the evening, after dinner, we were treated to an awesome free firework display.

Most visitors are attracted by Straford Upon Avon's history and William Shakespeare, but there are a lot of other things to do and see there too.
